Activities and achivements from August until November

During the august-november, besides usual activities of center, we had some interventions which we managed to realise in some families and we rejoiced at some activieties of recreation and socialization.
1. Integrations
Camelia, the girl who was integrated a few months ago in a kindergarten from Manastur has been moved to "Voinicel" kindergarten, which is placed just 5 minutes away from her home, this thing facilitating mother and girl's task. Camelia was very well welcome in the new group by the pedagogue and children, which led to a good integration of herself. Moreover, her little brother, who is one year and four months old was integrated in weekly creche in Ghergheni, so that his mother should have the possibility to get employed in the work's field. Very hard mother separates from his younger child for five days every week and she looks forward to taking him Friday from the creche in order to spend two days together. Camelia asks every day about "baby", her little brother, when he comes home... She asks her mum why she does not take him home, when the Friday is going to come ? Questions for which mum always has to arm herself with patience to answer the girl who grieves pine after her brother.
For the moment, this is the best thing for the family, but we hope that in the near future there will be a possibility to transfer him to a creche with a longer program, so that the family members do not feel the separation so hard.
Felicia, one of the mothers we had assisted, since we met her she got over very difficult periods of uncertainty, tiredness, stress, scarcity of money. During these time we tried to support her as much as we could to find out the best solution for situations she was in. With God's help we reached to initiate a collaboration relationship with Sabina Pop, coordinator of "Mother and child center" from Gilau.
Here we managed to integrate Felicia for at least six month, the place where she and her baby Andrei get "a clean and warm room with a big bed" , food three times for day, which means more than Felicia could ever had dreamed. The need for safety of a place where she should go after work and kindergarten, a decorous and quiet place come true.
Moreover, here she benefits of pieces of advice and moral support every time she need it. During this period, while Felicia will live in Gilau, we will help her in practice too.
After our intervention to "Habitat for Humanity" organization, Cluj-Napoca, Felicia has been selected in their program of the dwellings construction job for 500 hours for her own house. She can be helped with 150 hours by other persons. These activity was put in a concrete form finding out 12 volunteers, ready to help this mother (but we are still looking for them). Together with these volunteers, we will participate too, FC Herald's staff, in order to cover 150 hours of work. At the same time, we help her financially during this time paying the kindergarten fees and other needs she has.
